20FOTO.3330/12/2014 – A high-tech hospital. A complex system made up of streams and paths, where the multiplicity of professionalism, the evolution continues and the complexity of the technologies applied and equipment used perform their respective functions. The new “Ospedale delle Apuane” of Massa Carrara has been designed according to the most current standards with a gross floor area totaling 45,676 square meters, covered 15,242 square meters.

EGA Sistemi has designed and installed the photovoltaic system that will ensure the energy demand of the structure of via Mattei without polluting. Two hundred to 250 wp polycrystalline solar panels each, covering an area of 340 square meters, will provide an output of 50 kW and an annual output of 55,000 kWh, with a non-issuance of 27,500 kg of C02.

“Beyond the complexity and the technical with the roofing installation by ballast concrete tilt panels 10 degrees – says Giuseppe Abello, founder and director of EGA Sistemi – our implementation fits in the round in a ‘architectural idea that looks to the future. Hospitals, like many other architectures with high technological content, must be functional and with “content” as it were exemplary and sustainable protection of the environment and future generations. The new technologies in terms of energy requirements, from photovoltaics, go in this direction.”
